2021 Dux Recognition Ceremony

Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone, said “When one door closes another door opens”. What an appropriate aphorism for the last couple of years. This was proved yet again by the resounding success of our inaugural “Dux Recognition Ceremony” last week. Whilst traditionally at NSC we would announce and award the Dux at the Celebration Assembly at the end of the year, the challenges of 2021 lead to a delay in this information being available. Therefore, in order to officially recognise our 2021 Dux, Daina Graham, we held a ceremony exclusively for this purpose. A ceremony which included an opportunity for VCE and Year 10 ECO students to ask questions and advice of Daina, an opportunity they took eager advantage of. Daina answered questions for over half an hour to a rapt audience and her wisdom was greatly appreciated.
