Our Year 10 students were fortunate to experience University life when they visited Deakin University last week. 

Students got to experience the High Voltage room and participate in a number of workshops that introduced them to Deakin’s course offerings.

Year 9 Geelong Tertiary Futures Program 2022.

Each year, our Year 9 students undertake tertiary units through the Gordon Tafe in 'Workplace Communication' and 'Occupational Health and Safety' in their GROW classes. As part of this program, students spend 4 days at the Gordon in Term 3 where they are involved in practical 'Taster Classes' ahead of course selection for 2023. This allows them to try possible VET (Vocational Education and Training) courses that we can assist in enrolling them which can contribute towards their senior programs. A wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with a tertiary provider, and have fun in hands on experiences as they go!
