We hope that this Newsletter finds you and your families well.

As you may or may not be aware, we have entered Week 5, the half-way point of Term 3! As such, it is a timely opportunity to reflect on the learning progress and growth made by each and every student at Newcomb Secondary College, and share in a conversation with your student about any short term goals that could assist in keeping the positive learning momentum going. Conversations could be simply around increased attendance, completion of classwork, building stronger relationships with staff and students, working on skills in resilience, communication, collaboration or other areas that feature as necessary skills in the new World of Work that awaits students in the 21^st Century. These skills and attributes form the foundational elements of the Newcomb SC Positive Futures Framework- a framework that should always be front and centre of the aspirations and endeavors of all Newcomb SC learners.
