Year 9/10 Indonesian Melbourne Zoo Excursion

Last Thursday our Year 9/10 Indonesian students were lucky enough to go to the Melbourne Zoo for their animal conservation projects.

We had plenty of fun learning about animals from Indonesia and learning about the conservation efforts in place to protect these beautiful animals.

The students took plenty of photos and travelled around the globe from exhibit to exhibit.

My highlight had to be the butterfly room (always my favourite) and the elephants.

We even managed to get a class mascot: Pak Jimmy Karl the orangutan, affectionately known as Jimmay (see below).
