Year 10 Work Experience

Congratulations to our Year 10 students who participated in work experience during the last week of term 3. It was fantastic to witness the application of their employability skills in varied industries. Completing work experience during Year 10 gives our students great opportunities to delve into the world of work and gain a greater understanding of potential industries of interest for the future. It also helps students with their decision making for future schooling and study pathways beyond Newcomb Secondary College. Whilst the pandemic severely impacted these opportunities in the last two years, it has been really encouraging to see our students engaging in this in 2022.

A big thank you to the wonderful host employers, especially BKM Electrics who have been supporting 2 NSC students throughout the year. 

If you would like to host one of our students for work experience in the future, we would love to hear from you! The next week is scheduled for the 7^th-11^th of November (Week 6) and we again encourage all Year 10 students to actively engage in this opportunity.
