Hunter and Pete have done themselves and NSC proud, by being respectful, motivated and positive SWL employees while building their employability skills at Evologic.
As part of his Senior VCAL numeracy, Pete presented Evologic an in depth and thorough report using industry and business specific information ~ directly bringing classroom assignments into the outside world.

Time Capsule for Leopold Primary School
Newcomb Secondary College students proudly handed over the time capsule we have designed and built for Leopold primary school, in preparation for their 150 years celebration to be held on the 23rd of October.
It was super exciting to be able to put our new CNC machine to use and engrave the lid- we think it came up great!
The time capsule will remain on display in the Leopold Primary School foyer, to be opened in 25 years time 2047!

Kopi Shop
The Kopi shop initiative runs every day at recess. It provides a place for students to come and learn some coffee skills on our amazing machine.
These students who commit to learning then have the confidence to apply for a part time job as a Barista.
Come see Tania anytime if you have some interest in training in 2023. Always looking for new students to support in this pathway.

9 GROW - Coasting Drones
This term, the four Year 9 GROW classes are undertaking a joint unit in GROW with the Geelong Tech School and Surf Life Saving Victoria.
The project utilises 'Drone Technology' and CASA 'Civil Aviation Safety Authority' protocols in assessing coastal waterways of Geelong and how drones form an integral part of SLSV safety. They view safety data, pilot drones for their capabilities and offer solutions where they assess potential needs.
Thankyou to the Tech School and SLSV for the opportunity to work with you!
