84 Waggas and the Art of Making Do
Last Thursday 17th November, our dynamic Year 84 team participated in a joint research project with the Geelong Wool Museum and Deakin University.
Researchers Eve Mayes and Merinda Kelly enjoyed the honesty and openness of our students when they shared their ideas about how to make museums more accessible to young people into the future.
It was fun to experience a great exhibition delving into our history, as well giving the next generation an opportunity to be heard. An event that celebrated student voice and agency. 😊 A proud day for Mr Davis and Mrs Honeywell

9/10 Outdoor Ed Snorkelling
On Wednesday 16th of November 9/10 Outdoor Ed made their way to Indented Head to snorkel around the famous Ozone shipwreck.
Despite a large amount of rain and unusual cold weather for this time of the year, the conditions and water clarity were perfect.
Students were able to swim in and around the wreck witnessing a variety of sea life that included stingrays, clown fish and pufferfish along with marine habitats underneath.
The students were able to apply their newly learnt beach safety and snorkelling techniques they recently studied and practiced the week before.
Big thanks to Mr Relouw, Mr Bamford for helping out with the day.
