Primary School Visits
We have welcomed more than 150 Grade 5 and 6 students into our school grounds over the past two weeks as part of our Transition and Promotion Program. Grade 5 and 6 students participated in a number of hands on activities for the day. In Science students demonstrated their eagerness to experiment mixing chemicals to create chemical reactions and completed circuits to turn on a light. In Food Technology students learnt new skills in the kitchen both cooking and cleaning all while preparing a delicious wrap for lunch. In Woodwork some lucky students were able test out their handy skills in creating an engraving a door hanger.
Students all reported to enjoy their first positive experience at Newcomb Secondary College.
We look forward to welcoming more students into NSC over the coming weeks and throughout the year.
