74 Junior Concert Band

On Tuesday March 23^rd the students from 74 attended their first Junior Concert Band rehearsal. All students in 74 learn a brass or woodwind instrument, along with one student on bass guitar and two students on drums & percussion.

Congratulations to 74 on an excellent first band rehearsal. Your concentration during the rehearsal was excellent and the band sounded great. Looking forward to more band rehearsals in term 2.

During term 2 – 74 will rehearse as one band on a fortnightly timetable during their classroom music program.  71, 72 & 73 music students will rehearse on a rotating timetable on a fortnightly basis in the alternate week to 74.

Senior Concert Band Tour

Student charges for the Senior Concert Band Tour will be placed on students accounts this week. If you child is a member of the Senior Concert Band and is not participating in this tour, or your required more information please email me (as listed above) or return the form to the General Office.
