College Information Evening

A very successful Information Night was held on Monday evening that saw many prospective families from local primary schools come and find out what Newcomb Secondary College is all about. The evening commenced with an information session that included presentations from student, parent and teacher perspectives. Parents and students took part in tours that showcased the depth and breadth of educational programs on offer at Newcomb Secondary College. Many parents commented on the variety of high quality educational opportunities on offer, the well-presented facilities and the friendliness of staff and students. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and students who participated in the evening, including our speakers Toby, (year 7) Elliot and Sarah (year 12), and our School Council President, and parent representative, Mick Graham. The Information evening is a core event in our transition to secondary program and we look forward to working with all our incoming new students later in the year.

Interim Reports And Parent Student Teacher Conferences

The Interim Reports will be available on Compass at the end of Term 1. Parent Student Teacher Conferences will be held towards the end of Week 1 in Term 2. More information will be available in the first newsletter of next term.

End of Term

Term 1, 2021 will conclude at 2.30pm on Thursday 1st April. We wish all members of the Newcomb Secondary College Community the very best for the Easter holiday break. Term 2 commences on Monday, 19th April.
