Welcome back to the start of term 4. The map for bringing students back on-site in the staged way has already been published. We hope that this will see us finish off the challenging school year by being all together on-site.
Yesterday we welcomed back our Year 12 students as they move towards their final assessments and the completion of their secondary schooling.
Facilities Updates
C Block is open and ready for business. It includes a 128-seat auditorium and updated Science Technology facilities. Some furniture is still to be received.
Staffing News
I would like to recognise the leadership of Scott McLeod, James Murphy, Jeremy Sinclair and Ebony Dedini who undertook various roles while I was on leave. It is really pleasing to see the College continue its work and planning in a seamless way. This is also great for the ongoing development and experience of our staff. Phil Honeywell

Barwon Health will visit NSC to deliver the 2nd and final dose of the Gardasil vaccine to our Year 7's
NEW DATE
Thursday 21st October (11:45am – 12:30pm)
NOTE:: There needs to be a 7 day gap between a COVID vaccine and any other vaccine. If a child has a COVID vaccine, the parent/guardian needs to ensure that this 7 day space is made and if it is not possible, then parents need to ensure that their Child (most importantly) and Barwon Health are made aware so that their consent card can be removed. WELCOME TO OUR NEW FACILITIES MANAGER BRENDAN RYAN
My life story is that I live in Highton with my wife and two sons. We have an old beagle dog called Milo. I play golf in Torquay, support St Kilda Saints and enjoy swimming.
Over the last 10 years I have been working as the Facilities Manager at Hoppers Crossing Secondary College and Saltwater P-9 College in Point Cook.
I grew up in Geelong and enjoy camping when out of lockdowns.
I'm excited about taking on the challenge of Facilities Manager at Newcomb Secondary College.
Welcome, Malki Saric! Not to NSC (yet) but to the world. Jordy Saric, the school Daily Organiser, has taken maternity leave and was pleased to let us know of Malki's arrival.
