Enrolment
General enrolments (Years 8-12)
Newcomb Secondary College welcomes student enrolments.
The first step to enrolling at Newcomb Secondary College is to contact our administration office on 03 5248 1400 or forward your details via the web based enquiry proforma.
Once your details have been received, a member of the leadership team will contact you to arrange a suitable time to meet and discuss your enrolment further.
Year 7 enrolment process
Once you have decided which school you wish your child to attend, a ‘Year 6 to Year 7 Transitions: Application for Year 7 Placement’form must be filled out and returned to the Year 6 Coordinator at your school. (Your current Primary School will be able to provide you with this form).
If your child attends a non-government Primary school, and you have decided to enrol them in Year 7 at a Government school, you should follow the same process and return the application to the Year 6 coordinator at your own school.
Although Year 7 enrolments are determined by Secondary schools, all communication regarding the Year 6 to Year 7 transition process must be in written form and lodged through your Primary school until the Year 7 placement is confirmed. Once your enrolment has been confirmed, you will receive notification via your Primary school as to which school your child has been accepted into.
Newcomb Secondary College will then follow up with an enrolment pack, which includes an enrolment/admission form and other general school information.
